HOW IT WORKS

Every project runs the same way — clear communication from first contact to final inspection, no surprises along the way.

01

GET IN TOUCH

Call, email, or fill out the form and tell us what you're working with. We'll ask a few questions to get a clear picture of the job before anything else happens.

02

WE SEND AN ESTIMATE

Once we understand the scope, we'll put together a written estimate that lays out what the work involves and what you can expect it to cost. No work starts until you're comfortable with the plan.

03

WORK GETS DONE

We show up, do the work, pull the permits, and don't leave until the job is closed and inspected. You get documentation of everything that was done.

“I'm an electrical contractor myself and I've shared jobsites with Mayce many times. Punctual, honest, and communicates clearly the whole way through, he takes his jobs seriously and knows his trade inside out. When you work alongside someone, you see how they handle the parts nobody's watching, and Mayce is solid there. I'd work alongside him any day. Highly recommend!”

FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most. Don't see yours? Get in touch.

Yes. Estimates are provided at no charge. You'll receive a written estimate with materials, labour, and any applicable permits laid out clearly before any work begins.

Yes. Permits are pulled on all work that requires them under BC code, and we close them out after inspection. You don't need to manage any of that. Unpermitted electrical work can cause real problems with insurance and property sales down the road — it's not a corner worth cutting.

Yes to all of the above — licensed under TSBC LIC-00214232, fully insured, WorkSafe BC covered, and bonded. If you need documentation for a project file or property record, just ask.

Yes. All labour is warranted for one year from the date of completion. If you have any concerns about the work after the job is done, reach out and we'll make it right. Manufacturer warranties apply separately to materials and equipment supplied.

For smaller jobs we can often move quickly. Larger projects typically book two weeks out. Get in touch early and we'll work out a timeline that fits your schedule.

Most electrical work in BC requires a permit — new circuits, panel work, EV chargers, and modifications to existing systems typically fall under this. We'll tell you upfront whether a permit is required and handle the process from start to finish.

It's a common situation in BC homes built between the late 1960s and late 1970s, and it's manageable. Aluminum wiring is used safely every day — the issue is specifically at the connection points, where it behaves differently than copper and requires the right technique and materials to terminate properly.

Remediation involves replacing connection points throughout the home using approved cu-al connectors and anti-oxidant compound. The work is done under permit and inspected by Technical Safety BC. Once complete, we provide a letter of completion that your insurance company can use to confirm the work was done correctly — which typically allows them to maintain or renew your coverage, and in some cases can result in a premium reduction.

If you're not sure what you have or what your insurer is asking for, reach out. We're happy to take a look and walk you through the options.

We accept cash, e-transfer, and credit card.

For jobs under $1,500, payment is due on completion. For jobs $1,500 and over, we require a 50% deposit before scheduling, with the balance due on completion.

Generally yes, at least at the start for access. Once we're underway, we'll let you know if there's anything that needs your attention. We always confirm the details ahead of the scheduled date so there are no surprises on either end.
